Anna Silk

Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is a Canadian actress who is most well-known for her role as Bo in the Showcase TV show Lost Girl. Silk was created in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay, the director of drama and producer in St. Thomas University, is Silk's mom. Her father, Peter who was an academic, worked at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Some of Anna's earliest memories were of going to play rehearsals and watching her mother perform. Silk was a prominent character in numerous commercials when she was an infant. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Arts from St. Thomas University in 1997. The early stage work she did included at least two productions with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto Canada in the month of November of 1999, to keep acting. She then relocated in Los Angeles California during the following decade. Seth Cooperman was her future spouse when she first was introduced to him during an acting workshop located in Los Angeles. The couple was wed in civil ceremonies in the month of December. They were married in Fredericton on the 10th of April in 2011, they renewed vows following her conversion to Judaism. Silk gave birth to a son named Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron, Silk's second baby boy was born in May of 2016. Silk was nominated in 2009 for the Gemini Awards in her role in the role of Cassidy Holland. The Canadian show Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character of a succubus. Silk told fans of the show the good announcement that she became pregnant while filming season 3 during an exclusive pre-show to promote Season Three. This was broadcasted by Showcase during the special Season Three show held January 6, 2013, prior to the premiere. On June 4, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced the start of production on the fourth season and on the 20th of June 2013 Silk posted on Twitter that she was back to the set of the show. CNN's Cable News Network named her performance as Bo as well as Lauren (Zoie Parker) on Lost Girl as same-sex couples one of their all-time favorite television Couples. E! named them as the most popular TV Couple in 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk has, in turn, its prominence on social media has earned it a large online following.
